The annual internal English speech contest was held on the 24th and 25th of April 2019. The grades 4-7 was held on the 24th and the grades 8-12 was held on the 25th.
Learners from the school were chosen to be the MC’s for the two nights. External adjudicators were selected to judge the two events.
The learners of SBSM participated in this event and presented an eclectic variety of topics that were both interesting and controversial.
Speakers were well-presented and spoke with confidence and conviction. The adjudicators were very impressed with the quality and caliber of the content delivered.
Each grade was represented by 4 learners. Awards were given to the top 3 as well for most promising speaker. This award was given to the learner who showed promise and talent.
