PHASE HEAD MESSAGE

A Greek philosopher, Heraclitus said that the only constant in life is change. We are living in a world where we are teaching children for jobs that may not exist yet as we embrace the fourth industrial revolution. Therefore, it is our duty as educators to ensure that we equip children with the ability to survive in a world of uncertainty by encouraging them to think critically, be creative and motivating them to stay determined to achieve to the best of their abilities.

The FET phase poses many challenges due to the pressure of the extra work load and subject choices, however it also provides many opportunities to succeed holistically in whichever field one chooses.

These opportunities include: camps, Olympiads and academic competitions and challenges which will add value to the curriculum. Extra-curriculuar activities also play a pivotal role in the development of a child and the involvement in such activities is encouraged in order to develop an all rounded learner.

I am looking forward to building a relationship with learners, parents and staff members based on honesty and respect in order to inculcate a culture of lifelong learning. Also, I am excited to be a part of the SBSM family, and I am committed to make 2020 a success.
