Primary school sports day was held on the 17th of April 2019. The icy morning did not dampen the spirits of the learners or parents. The day consisted of track and field events as well as novelty races. Our three houses Spartans (Blue), Romans (Red) and Trojans (Green) were named after famous Greek warriors known for their strength, athleticism and endurance, all of which our athletes displayed.
Excitement and cheering was the order of the day as each participant strived for that gold medal with their team mates cheering for them every step of the way.
At the end it was the Trojans (Green) who emerged victorious with a whopping 308 points securing first place, in second place the Spartans (Blue) managed to score 266 points and hot on their heels in third place were the Romans (Red) with 249 points.
This day would not have been possible without the teachers, admin staff, support staff, learners and parents. We thank you for your efforts
